Founding Friends Campaign We, at Team Charity, are very proud of what we have started. We have had a wonderful first year and we have only just begun. We have total confidence that Team Charity will one day be a household name in New Jersey. We know we did not do this alone. So many of you have helped us and will continue to help us along the way. As such, we invite you to stand up and be recognized. We invite you to be a “Founding Friend.” The Founding Friends campaign has two main purposes. The first is it is going to finance all of the application fees for our 501(c)3 application. All of our fundraising events prior to our Beer Pong Tournament on 7/18/08, have gone directly to another charity. We did not want to dip into any of those funds, so we now turn to you to help us become an official non-profit organization. The second main purpose of the Founding Friends campaign is to start some of our own programming. While Team Charity does intend on continuing to support other charities, we also wanted to create some of our own initiatives that support our mission.
