Maria T. Cruz is the co-founder and Vice Chair of Programming of Team Charity. She holds a B.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations with minors in Political Science and Spanish from Seton Hall University's Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
Upon graduation, Maria worked as a Program Coordinator at The Arc of New Jersey in Hudson County. She ran an After School Program for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities managing staff and volunteers while implementing new program activities. She also helped organize two successful walk-a-thons. Maria brings grant writing and development plan implementation skills to Team Charity.
She is currently the co-owner of My Cuban Rose, a Cuban restaurant in Kenilworth, NJ. A West Hudson County native, she is a Confirmation Catechist at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church. She is passionate about green living and the ONE campaign.
